Copyright Policy

This policy explains ownership, reasonable quotation, permissions and how to report possible infringement on Globull. It also describes the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice and counter-notice framework without claiming that every complaint qualifies for that process or that a copyright dispute can be decided by an email alone.

1. Ownership and protected expression

Globull's original articles, explanations, graphics and code are protected to the extent copyright law applies. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owner, and any stated license controls that material. Copyright protects original expression, not the underlying facts, ideas, stock tickers or mathematical methods themselves. A data table can contain unprotected facts while its original selection or presentation may have separate protection. Do not assume that freely accessible content is public domain. Equally, do not assume our publication of a public fact prevents you from independently researching and describing that fact in your own words.

2. Quoting, linking and permissions

You may link to our public pages and quote short excerpts with clear credit to Globull.com and a link to the original article. Keep quotations accurate and distinguish them from your own commentary. This permission does not cover copying a complete article, reproducing a substantial collection of tables or repackaging our site as a competing publication. Ask for written permission before a substantial republication, translation or commercial redistribution. Describe the material, intended audience, format and extent of use. Statutory rights such as fair use remain available regardless of whether you ask permission, and attribution alone does not make every copying activity lawful.

3. Commentary and fair use

We may quote limited portions of promotions, filings or other published material to identify claims, explain research and offer criticism or commentary. Under 17 USC 107, fair use involves factors including purpose and character, the nature of the work, the amount used and the effect on the potential market. There is no universal word count or percentage that automatically establishes fair use. A commercial context does not automatically defeat it, and calling a use educational does not automatically establish it. We aim to use only what is reasonably needed for the discussion, add our own analysis and avoid substituting for the original work.

4. Reporting possible infringement

Send a complaint to contact@globull.com identifying the copyrighted work, the material you believe infringes it and the exact Globull page addresses. Explain whether you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner. Include reliable contact details and enough information for us to locate and assess the issue. A disagreement with a conclusion, a trademark concern or an allegation that a fact is wrong is not necessarily copyright infringement. Label those concerns accurately so they can be reviewed through the appropriate process. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless a specific, justified verification need has first been discussed.

5. DMCA notice requirements

A notification under 17 USC 512(c)(3) generally requires a physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work, identification and location of the allegedly infringing material, and reasonably sufficient contact information. It also requires a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law, plus a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the sender is authorized to act. Consider lawful exceptions before submitting a notice. Material misrepresentations can have legal consequences under section 512(f). Our contact email is a reporting route, not a representation that a designated agent has been registered with the Copyright Office.

6. Counter-notices and review

If material is removed through an applicable DMCA process, the affected contributor may have a counter-notice option under section 512(g). A qualifying counter-notice generally includes a signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief in mistake or misidentification, contact information, consent to the required federal court jurisdiction and acceptance of service from the complainant. Valid counter-notices may be shared with the complainant. The statutory framework can permit restoration after ten to fourteen business days unless notice of a qualifying court action is received. Applicability depends on the circumstances; we do not promise automatic removal or restoration, and legal advice may be appropriate.

About this free publication

Globull.com is a free finance publication focused on the United States. Readers do not need an account, subscription, paid plan or login to read our articles or use our tools. Our coverage centers on stocks listed on US exchanges, including the NYSE and Nasdaq. Dollar amounts refer to US dollars unless a page says otherwise. Availability to readers elsewhere does not mean our content follows another country's investment, tax, privacy or consumer protection rules. Consider the location, date and purpose of each article before applying it to your own circumstances. A ticker identification is an explanation of a promotion, not an instruction to trade.

Reading figures in context

Financial information depends on assumptions and timing. A share price, tax threshold, company name or promotional claim can change after a page is published. Read the surrounding explanation rather than relying on a search snippet, table cell or isolated sentence. Calculators provide estimates based on the inputs and formulas described on the tool page. Tax, retirement and Social Security examples concern US federal rules unless otherwise stated, and do not cover every exception or state requirement. Check important facts against current official sources. Neither a free tool nor a detailed article can replace a review of your complete financial circumstances by an appropriately qualified professional.

Browser features and outside services

Calculator entries are processed in your browser rather than submitted to Globull for calculation. If you choose to save a calculator scenario, local storage on that browser keeps the saved values until they are cleared. This is not a cloud account or a backup service. Site storage is limited to essential functions and locally saved scenarios, not advertising profiles or analytics tracking cookies. Loading an image supplied through an image API can still send a network request to that service. External links open resources operated by others. Review our Privacy and Cookie policies for the distinction between browser storage, ordinary network requests and information you voluntarily email us.

Questions about this page

Contact contact@globull.com if you need clarification, find a broken reference or believe this page contains an error. Include the page address and enough context for us to understand the issue. Do not send account passwords, Social Security numbers, brokerage credentials or complete tax returns. We do not need those details to review an editorial or website question. A message to the publication does not establish an adviser-client relationship or guarantee a particular response time. We may revise explanations as our practices, tools or applicable requirements change. Read the relevant policy again when a new question arises, and keep your own copy if you need a record of wording you relied on.
