Globull limits browser storage to essential functions and saved calculator scenarios. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking cookies. This policy explains what that means, why local storage differs from a cookie, and why a page can still make network requests without setting tracking cookies.

1. Cookies and local storage are different
A cookie is a small value a website asks a browser to retain and, within its scope, send with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that lets a page retain values for that site's origin. Local storage values are not automatically attached to every network request as cookies are, although website code can read them. Neither technology is automatically anonymous or automatically a tracking tool. Purpose, contents and use matter. Our relevant persistent feature is saving calculator scenarios locally so a reader can return to an example without creating an account or sending the scenario to a server.
2. Essential functions only
We do not use storage to follow readers across unrelated sites, personalize advertising or build marketing profiles. Essential storage, where needed, supports the operation of the site rather than audience targeting. This policy does not claim a named cookie, provider or fixed expiration period that has not been established. A browser's developer tools can show the actual storage present for a particular visit. Extensions, browser features and other open sites may create their own data independently of Globull. If you see something unexpected associated with our site, send a description and the page address so the behavior can be reviewed.
3. Saving a calculator scenario
When you use a save feature, the scenario's input values and any associated labels can remain in local storage for that browser profile. Treat a saved income, debt or retirement amount as private even if it is only an example. Do not include account numbers or other identifying details in scenario names. Saving locally is optional and is not the same as registering with Globull. A scenario saved on your laptop will not automatically appear on your phone or another browser. We do not provide server recovery of saved scenarios, so keep a separate copy if losing an example would cause a problem.
4. Controlling and clearing storage
You can use your browser's site settings to inspect or remove cookies and local storage for Globull. Menu names vary, so consult the browser's help for site data, privacy or storage controls. Clearing all site data may remove saved calculator scenarios and other essential preferences. Blocking storage may prevent a save feature from working, although calculations themselves are designed to run in the browser without a saved account. Private browsing often discards local values when its session ends, but behavior varies by browser. On a shared device, close private sessions and check for saved data rather than assuming that closing one tab deletes everything.
5. Image API requests and external links
Images delivered through an image API require a request to the image service. That service can receive an IP address, resource path, browser connection information and a referrer when permitted. This is network processing, not evidence that Globull uses advertising cookies. Blocking cookies alone does not stop every request or conceal an IP address from the server delivering an image. Following an external link loads another operator's site, where separate storage and privacy practices may apply. Browser controls, content blockers and referrer settings can affect loading, but may also make images or other features unavailable. Review third-party policies when their services matter to your privacy choices.
6. Privacy signals and future changes
California's CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, distinguishes sales and sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising from other processing. We do not sell personal information or share it for that advertising purpose, and this site does not offer an advertising-cookie opt-in because it does not use those cookies. Recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control can carry legal significance for covered businesses. We do not represent that a browser signal deletes email messages or local scenarios. If storage practices change, this policy should be updated to explain the actual purpose and choices, with consent or opt-out mechanisms where applicable law requires them.

Browser features and outside services

If you choose to save a calculator scenario, local storage on that browser keeps the saved values until they are cleared. This is not a cloud account or a backup service. Site storage is limited to essential functions and locally saved scenarios, not advertising profiles or analytics tracking cookies. Loading an image supplied through an image API can still send a network request to that service. External links open resources operated by others.
